International artist exchange scheme
The grant will help increase international cultural exchange and to support the City of Oslo's international strategies. The goal is to get more international artists to live and work in Oslo in shorter or longer periods, and that the Oslo artists are given the opportunity to live and work abroad for shorter or longer periods.
Oslo municipality has currently not entered into any formal agreements with other countries on such exchange or set aside any premises/studio for visiting artists in Oslo. Therefore, the grant is only aimed at artists residing in Oslo who have obtained a formal letter of invitation from a foreign institution.
Criterias:
- Formal invitation from the institution
- The applicant must be innovative and interesting in its field
- The project application must outline a final communication concept that is relative to application period time frame
- The project's relevance and development potential for the applicant
Applicants must use the online electronic application forms.
